Wear form-fitting clothing. Please do not wear baggy clothing as they can snag and catch on the sling’s fabric causing accidents. Ensure that your clothing is “zipper free” and remove all jewellery (body piercings\, watches and hair clips etc). These items can snag and damage the silk hammocks. \n5) Weight limit is up 300 pounds (140kg) per hammock. \n6) This session is not suitable for people with pacemakers and other therapeutic electronic devices or persons suffering from severe mental health issues due to the vibratory nature of the session. Please seek advice from your GP if you have any concerns prior to attending our session. \n7) Our sound journeys are very gentle and not loud/intense therefore suitable for pregnant women. It is believed that there are many positive and beneficial effects to be gained from relaxation and healing sounds to the growing foetus. The advised healing practice is gentle flowing sounds around the pregnant mother for the beneficial and positive effect of both mother and baby. Please seek advice from your GP if you have any concerns prior to attending our session. \nCANCELLATION POLICY:\nAll tickets are non-refundable. Last minute refunds/ticket transfers are not available as we need to have enough time to fill the space left – at least 1 week’s notice. ROCK-ABYE-BABY & RESEARCH\nTwo new studies published in Current Biology suggest our brains are evolutionarily programmed to respond to rocking. Research also provides insight into why rocking is calming to babies. The brain wave synchronization occurs much easier through a rocking motion and allows the baby to feel more at home (i.e. it feels closer to being in the womb). In case of a heavy rain forecast\, we will cancel the dance at least 3h prior to the event . \n1. Loose-fitting clothes that let you move your body and free yourself. Dress in layers in case you get warm/cool. Bring a warm jumper/ jacket and waterproof jacket with a hood in case of a light rain.\n2. Ensure that you wear comfortable shoes and your feet are warm though you are welcome to dance barefoot. Please note that were we dance is a bit wild\, has long grass so don’t expect a perfect lawn.\n3. Reusable water bottle\, extra water to keep hydrated and maybe a flask with a hot drink and something to eat after the dance.\n4. Towel or Blanket for picnic\, snacks & non-alcoholic beverages.\n5 . Bug spray (citronella works great!) we will provide some also 🙂\n6 . Sun cream/ hat in case of very hot weather!\n7 . Antihistamine if you suffer from hay fever.\n8. Flashlight as it might be dark on the way back from the location. \nCOST:\n£13 Lower Waged\, £18 Regular\nCHILDREN: under the age of 9 yrs can join for free\, 9yrs-16yrs is £7\, limited availability\,1 adult per child.\nDOGS: You are welcome to bring beloved pets\, however please keep them on the leash. Unless they are vey well behaved and won’t disturb the dancers.
