SUNDAY SOUND SANCTUARY – A Gorgeous Sound Journey & Gong Bath with Guided Relaxation!
Ambient Crystal Singing bowls, Voice, Handpan & Gongs, 3:30PM – 5:15PM

Join us for this unique and heart-opening experience on a Sunday afternoon.

We’re happy to be providing Londoners with a kind of sanctuary space on Sundays, to deeply relax their nervous system, be themselves, release stress, and rest their body.

Our Sunday Sound Sanctuary is an opportunity to just let go as deeply as you’d like to. With offer a short guided meditation to prepare your mind and body for the sounds, then bask in our Soundscapes: Cosmic, Ethereal Vocals, Crystal Singing Bowls, Gongs, Handpan and much much more!

SCHEDULE:

◈ 3:20pm-3:40pm Arrival/ Check in (No entry after 3:40pm, this is so we can create a safe and calm environment for all participants)

◈ 3:40pm-5:15pm Guided Relaxation Meditation & Sound Journey/Gong Bath with Live Music: for Rest, Relaxation & Rejuvenation

◈ 5:15pm Session ends. You’re welcome to stay for complimentary herbal teas and maybe join us later for Ecstatic Dance & Cacao from 6pm-8:15pm and purchase ticket at the venue

Through the frequencies of healing sounds, our nervous systems can be brought back in tune, and we can begin to feel that positive and healthy relaxed flow.

The deep complex harmonics of multiple instruments quickly silence the restless mind, and resonate throughout your body, melting away boundaries between being awake and being asleep, between inside and outside.

Meditate and relax into the deepest conscious rest, cleansing, releasing, healing, and harmonizing on all levels.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

1. Yoga mat, cushion & blanket for extra comfort. Blindfolds will be provided however you are welcome to bring your own.

2. Reusable water bottle. We will provide tap water & lemon water refill station.

3. A selection of herbal teas will be provided in the breaks.

VENUE:

2 minutes walk from Tufnell Park station (Exact venue details will be in your order confirmation email! Please scroll down in the email to see all details!)

-Nearest station is Tufnell Park. 2 min walk from the station. Please check tfl.gov for latest travel updates.

-If you are driving, please be aware that the venue is in an Ultra Low Emission Zone and you may be liable to pay the daily fee.

-Find parking on parkopedia and use venues postcode. There is no parking at the venue.

-There are bicycle racks at the venue to lock your bike if you are cycling.

-Venue is accessible to wheelchair users.

-Toilets are available at the venue.

  • Lower waged/ Concession £15 + Eventbrite fee
  • Regular £20 + Eventbrite fee

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We do not offer refunds/ticket swaps. You are welcome to pass on your ticket to a friend, colleague or family member however please let us know the date & time of the booked session, name and email address of the person attending in your place. FACILITATORS/ MUSICIANS:

Seth Newman: As a coach, Seth is dedicated to helping people calm, empower and rejuvenate their busy minds and bodies to achieve the best versions of themselves. Seth brings a wealth of experience holding heart-centered spaces.

As a musician, Seth is very passionate about rhythm & drumming, has an MA in Community Music from Goldsmith College, worked as a world music percussion teacher in East London schools for almost 20 years and started URUBU collective back in 2009 as a Live Music Ecstatic Dance experience with Afro-Brazilian drummers & musicians.

Seth has been running various body-mind integration classes and workshops for many years. His inspiration comes from many sources including Humanistic & Body Psychotherapy, the Human Potential Movement, 5 Rhythms, Tantra and Active meditations.

Diana Upite: Trained in classical music from a young age, and later in contemporary music, Diana carries a life-long passion for singing, improvising and re-imagining traditional Celtic and folk songs with her own melodic vision.  A singer at heart, she connects deeply with the melodies and harmonies of ancient Europe and beyond.

Diana is passionate about bringing practices of rest and embodiment to others. Through her singing, her intention is to guide you on a journey of reconnection and self-discovery, reuniting you with the source of who you are.

Diana also has a keen interest in making delicious raw chocolates and raw cacao drinks for cacao ceremonies, private clients and is constantly experimenting with new flavours. She is a co-creator of many URUBU wellbeing classes, workshops, retreats and festivals.
